•    At 9:30 p.m., the representatives of each Contrada, dressed in costumes and split up in “Terzieri”, march through the streets in a parade starting from their district of origin to Piazza Grande. •    At 10:00 p.m., in Piazza Grande, ceremony with reading of the proclamation and greeting by the Gonfaloniere. Afterwards, celebrations will start with the flag throwing display by the “Gruppo Sbandieratori e Tamburini di Montepulciano” (Montepulciano’s Flag-wavers and Drummers Group).

Starting from the Colonna del Marzocco, at 3:30 p.m., historical parade of the “Gruppo Sbandieratori e Tamburini di Montepulciano” along the streets of the town. At Teatro Poliziano, at 4:00 p.m., presentation of the Banner, followed by the presentation of the new costumes of the Eight Contrade’s Magistrates and award ceremony for the food&wine contest “A Tavola con il Nobile”, in collaboration with Consorzio del Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
